Grandmaster Sang Ok Jeong

Master Sangok Jeong has over 35 years of martial arts experience. Master Jeong is a Seventh degree black belt in the traditional Korean martial art of Taekwondo, certified by the Kukkiwon. The Kukkiwon is the official World Headquarters for authentic Taekwondo. Master Jeong was born in South Korea, and is a graduate of the world famous Yong-In University, where he was awarded a Master’s degree in Sports Management, specializing in Taekwondo. Master Jeong is also a Seventh degree black belt in Yongmoodo. Master Jeong is one of the elite few who is not only a Master in the arts of Taekwondo and Yongmoodo, but also has a formal university graduate degree in physical education and teaching.

After graduation from university in Korea, Master Jeong toured with a professional martial arts demonstration team in countries around the world. Over the years, Master Jeong has received many commendations from the Kukkiwon for excellence in teaching and dedication to the art of Taekwondo. Master Jeong is also a certified international referee and certified coach in the martial sport of Taekwondo. Master Jeong has helped many elite competitors reach their goals and become national champions.

Master Jeong came to the United States five years ago with the specific goal of sharing his passion for teaching Taekwondo. No matter where he visited, Master Jeong changed many lives with his unique personality and teaching style.

Master Jeong's mission is to help all persons improve their lives through the practice of Taekwondo.
